This Indonesian word, meaning “thread,” refers to ancestral weaving techniques as well as to the bonds that ensure the transmission and heritage of know-how. BENANG is an ode to nature, a journey into the heart of Indonesia and its age-old techniques. Each design draws its inspiration from natural materials and from the expertise of the artisan who weaves, braids, and shapes.
